Most cosmetic manufacturers will offer some kind of combined set that gives the user everything they need to prepare or apply their makeup.M*A*C has started offering their own version of this, with their new Upstart kits. There are technically two different kinds of these combined items.

The first is the Upstarts: Well Prepared. It contains everything you need to prepare the face for makeup, and to reduce the problems that can create cracks and wear on under the foundation. This includes the Prep + Prime Skin, Prep + Prime Translucent Powder, their signature brand oil cleanser, and a Fix + in promotional size.

The second is the Upstarts: Lined & Lashed.  It comes with their eye prepping gear for the lashes and lid, eye makeup remover, a pencil, and mascara, to provide a complete eye set for you to get the perfect, professional look. While it does not include eye shadow, that can easily be purchased as a separate items through their website.

Both sets come in a leather carrying case, and cost between $27 – $47 USD. It is an affordable way to get promotional and full sizes of products that are usually much more expensive it bought separately. M*A*C provides other multi-use sets on their official site.
